Faulkner Auto & Truck Supply has been serving our area for decades with a simple goal: help customers find the right parts, supplies, and practical solutions they need to keep working, driving, building, repairing, and moving forward.
Our story began in the summer of 1979, when brothers Jimmy and Paul Faulkner opened a general auto repair shop. In 1980, they added a muffler shop to the business, and in January 1981, they opened a Green Light auto parts store. From those early days, the business continued to grow and change with the needs of our customers.
Over the years, our auto parts store operated under several well-known parts brands. Green Light became Parts Plus, then Big A, then Carquest, and eventually NAPA. Each step taught us more about the parts business and what customers truly need: dependable parts, broad availability, fair value, and knowledgeable people behind the counter.
Today, we are proud to be a NAPA Auto Parts store because NAPA gives our customers access to a much broader selection of parts, tools, accessories, and hard-to-find items. Through the strength of the NAPA network, we can offer access to a large inventory base, online shopping options, and the buying power of one of the most recognized names in the parts industry.
In 2015, we moved into our current location, giving us almost twice the space of our previous building. That larger building allowed us to expand our inventory and prepare for future growth. Then, in February 2018, we purchased Glasgow Hardware, which allowed us to add a full hardware department alongside our auto parts business.
That expansion helped us become more than just an auto parts store. Today, Faulkner Auto & Truck Supply offers a strong mix of auto parts, heavy-duty truck parts, hydraulic hoses and fittings, tools, hardware, plumbing, electrical supplies, fasteners, chain, logging supplies, farm-related items, and everyday repair essentials.
We work hard to stock the items our local customers actually need. That includes parts for automobiles, heavy-duty trucks, tractors, farm equipment, skidders, log loaders, skid steers, and other equipment used every day in our area. We also carry a wide range of supplies for home, shop, farm, and jobsite repairs.
One area where we take special pride is hydraulic hose and fittings. We keep a large inventory of hydraulic fittings and hose supplies so we can help customers get back to work as quickly as possible. We also stock heavy-duty brake parts for big trucks and focus on the needs of logging contractors by carrying parts and supplies that fit the work being done in the woods, on the road, and in the shop.
Our counter people are one of the most important parts of our business. We believe good service means more than handing someone a part number. It means listening, asking the right questions, using experience, and helping customers find the right solution. Whether you are working on a car, truck, tractor, piece of equipment, plumbing repair, electrical job, or hardware project, our goal is to help you leave with what you need.
